An Out standing Youngster

By her form at the recent Trentharn meeting Premature showed herself to be an outstanding youngster, and she may go out as favourcurite for the Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes at Awapuni on Saturday. If Premature and Route March meet in the Champagne Stakes at Riccarton at Easter the contest should provide one of the best races ever recorded forthatevent. Of the juveniles at Trentharn Premature was the only one who shaped as something out of the ordinary. This season Route March won the Royal Stakes at Auckland, the Great Northern Foal Stakes, the Rakino Handicap at Auckland, and the Juvenile Handicap at Avondale. Besides her two wins at Trentharn, Premature won the Feilding Juvenile Stakes and the Orona Nursery Handicap at the same meeting.
