A Domei news agency broadcast heard here today gave a Press report that the Netherlands East Indies steamer Rantaupandjang had been sunk by the German raider Tokio Maru. The Domei agency said the Tokio newspaper “Nichi Nichi” had received the report from Batavia. There were no passengers on the ship. The Tokio Maru is one of three raiders credited with sinking at least six ships in the South Pacific between December G and December 8. CREW OF 66 IN THE MISSING SHIP. INCLUDING 8 WHITE MEN. (Received This Day, 1.6 p.m.) BATAVIA, March 19. The Marine Department stated that the crew of the Rantoupadjang, which is missing in the Indian Ocean, numbered 66, including eight white men.
