DEFINITE FINDINGS
ON DOMINION MEAT POSITION LIKELY TO BE REACHED TONIGHT. STATEMENT BY' CHAIRMAN OF BOARD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. A statement that the committee now inquiring into the Dominion , meat position would arrive at definite findings tonight and that a Ministerial statement might be expected within a week, was made ■ by Mr T. A. Duncan, chairman of the Meat Board today. Mr Duncan, who is a member of the committee, said it might be necessary for the Government to impose restrictions on killings. Killings in the New Zealand Refrigerating Company’s Works here arc proceeding normally.
