ST LAWRENCE RIVER
POWER AND NAVIGATION PROJECT UNITED STATES AGREEMENT WITH CANADA. ANNOUNCEMENT EXPECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 19. President Roosevelt is expected on Friday to announce an agreement with Canada, for a St. Lawrence _ River power project, which may ultimately be extended in order, to provide a deep water channel from the Great Lakes to the sea. AGREEMENT SIGNED (Received This Day, 1.6 p.m.) OTTAWA. March 19. The St Lawrence power agreement was signed in Ottawa by Mr Mackenzie King (Prime Minister) and the. United States Minister, Mr Moffat.
