OBSERVANCE ON SUNDAY. APPEAL BY MINISTERS' ASSOCIATION. His Majesty the King has requested that Sunday. March 23, be observed throughout the Empire as a special Day of Prayer. In compliance with this request the Masterton Minister’s Association respectfully urges all people of Masterton and district to attend their own churches for this purpose. The association states: “We are grateful to Almighty God for the help given. It is felt that in no small way, previous days of prayer has given most valuable assistance in the hour of an Empire’s need. Believing in the righteousness of our cause and the need of our fighting forces, and of all sufferers through the war, we therefore appeal to all to unite in prayer for victory. and for a righteous peace.” The appeal is signed by the Ven Archdeacon E.
