EIDERDOWN QUILT

A GOOD SUBSTITUTE. An excellent substitute for an eiderdown quilt: Take two pieces of satin, or sateen, the reouired length and width, sew up round into a bag. Now run lines of stitching from end to end. making long pockets. Now fill the pockets with feathers or kapoc and sew up. If the quilt is made with a frill, and the seams finished off with narrow braid, the effect is quite handsome.
