SERVICE OF PRAYER

AT ST. MATTHEWS CHURCH TODAY. The weekly intercessory prayer meeting was held this afternoon in St. Matthew's Church. Masterton, there being a good attendance. The leader of the service from 12.30 p.m. till 1 p.m. was Major Neeve (Salvation Army), and from 1 p.m. till 1.30 p.m.. the Rev. Taeapa (Anglican). The addresses were delivered by Major Neeve (“The Promises of God are based on man fulfilling His will") and the Rev. Taeapa (“The King's call to the national Day of Prayer”). Special hymns were sung and prayers delivered.
