PREPARATION OF DUTCH LINER AIR-CONDITIONED CABINS RETAINED. FOR SERIOUSLY-INJURED SOLDIERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.10 p.m.) EATAVIA. March 18. The Dutch authorities have decided to retain air-conditioned cabins in the luxury liner Oranje (which has been offered to Britain as a hospital ship) for seriously injured soldiers. An operating theatre, with X-ray apparatus, will be built on the promenade deck, which is vibrationless. There will be special quarters for mental and contagious cases. Between fifty and sixty Dutch nurses, who speak English, will be selected. WOMEN 11*1 BATAVIA THOUSANDS ENROLLING FOR WAR SERVICE. (Received This Day. 11.45 a.m.) BATAVIA. March 18. Over 12,000 Batavian women have been recruited for war duties, and to replace men in civil occupations. The recruiting of women is now in lull swing throughout the East Indies.
