ORDER OF DRUIDS
STONEHENGE LODGE MEETING IN MASTERTON. ASSISTANCE TO SOLDIERS. The fortnightly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge was held last night, A.D. Bro. C. N. Cole presiding. Satisfactory reports were received in connection with sick brethren of the lodge, one of whom had recently been discharged from hospital after an operation. The annual report and balance sheet of the U.F.S. Dispensary was received and one of the delegates commented on the satisfactory position disclosed. II was resolved to congratulate the manager and his staff and also the Board and the secretary on the success which they had achieved. Reports were received regarding members on active service overseas and a full discussion is to be held on the matter at an early date with a view to granting further benefits to these members. A brief discussion took place on the proposed extension of hospital benefits under the Social Security Act and a report is to be brought down at the next meeting.
