“WITHOUT THE PRINCE”
CONCLUDING PERFORMANCE LAST NIGHT. MOST ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT. Another successful and highly entertaining performance of “Without the Prince" was given by the Masterton Little Theatre Society in the Opera House last night, before a large and appreciative audience. The net proceeds of last night’s takings are being donated by the society towards the Army Queen's campaign. Mfrs F. L. Price seemed much more at home in her part last night and put a tremendous lot of life into the whole comedy. Mr M. M. Simpson also improved considerably on his first night's performance. Both Messrs J. KentJohnston and Lawson Pither gave even better performances than they did on the opening night and Messrs J. A. Kennedy and N. M. Irwin were as good as ever. Miss Bebe Francis made the most of her part, which gave her no chance to show her talent. As on the first night, an orchestra (comprised of members of the Masterton Orchestra) played acceptable musical numbers.
