Buck-jumping competition: Dead heat between I. Hay and J. Wright. The winners of the various cups were as follow: Mr. E. H. Meech’s cup for maiden hunter scoring most points in the open hunters’ events (cup to be won three times), E. Olsen, won outright; Mr. S. F. Herbert’s trophy for best boy or girl rider under 15 years (competitor to be resident of the Akitio county), D. Matthews; Mr. E. J. Knowles's trophy for rider scoring most points at the meeting, E. Olsen; Mr. S. Jones’s trophy, for children’s best walking and trotting pony (local), D. Matthews.
