A meeting for women and girls is to be held in connection with the Women’s War Service Auxuliary in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Eketahuna, at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 17. Miss Amy Kane, a member of the Dominion Council and Dominion Executive, will address the meeting. All women and girls are cordially urged Io attend this meeting and hear what is being done, to assist to organise their efforts and enable them to make the maximum contribution to the national effort to win the war. The importance of getting the very best out of the efforts of all classes of the community, including women, will be obvious to everybody, and the Women’s War Service Auxiliary feels confident that the organised, bodies of women in Eketahuna will not be behind in assisting to form an organisation which will enable this to be brought about so far as the women are concerned.
