ULSTER STRIKE
HOLD-UP IN SHIPYARDS. OVER 5,000 MEN IDLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 11.30 a.m.) BELFAST, March 12. It was revealed in the Ulster Parliament that between five and six thousand shipyard workers had been on strike since March 7 because two men who left lower-paid work for shipyard jobs were ordered to return to their original employment. Apprentices joined in. alleging that war-time trainees were receiving high wages.
