IMPRESSMENT ORDERS
The telegram received by Mr R. H. Williams, Wairarapa Provincial Secretary of the Farmers' Union, from the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, in reply to a question as to whether it was necessary for farmers and milk vendors who had a good case for exemption of their trucks from impressment to send them to Trertlham for inspection, stat-j cd: ‘‘Those you refer to may hold their I trucks meantime. Have referred your representations to local licensing authority who will get into direct touch with such owners." The text of the telegram was inadvertently omitted from yesterday's issue.
