BRITISH BOMBERS ATTACK KIEL EVIDENCE OF HEAVY DAMAGE LARGE FIRE IN INDUSTRIAL AREA. A heavy attack was made on Kiel by the R.A.F. on Tuesday night, a 8.8. C. broadcast states. The weather was so clear that the canal was visible 50 miles away, and the targets were easily picked up. Some of the aircraft remained over the target for over half an hour. Fire bursts were seen right across the docks and a heavy explosion occurred in a shipbuilding yard. A large fire was started in the industrial area in the centre of Kiel.
