PRICES AT DUNEDIN.
KEEN COMPETITION

The Dunedin Stock Agents’ and Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at today's rabbitskin sale a large offering was submitted of approximately 36 tons. There was a good attendance of buyers, and from the opening of the sale to the close keen competition was forthcoming for all descriptions, brokers making good clearances. It was expected that an exceptionally good market would be met with as at present exporters are holding good orders on United States account. This was fully realised and values showed a market appreciation, the rise being from Bd. to 14d. per lb. The official range of prices is as follows:—Small, 363 - to 4Ud. per lb.: runners. 441 d. to 48d.: light racks, 52d. to 55d.; prime racks, 51gd. to 53d.; summers. 43d. to 461 d.; dawny autumns. 54d. to 56d.; first early autumns, 56d. to 59d.: winter bucks, spotted, 90d. to 941 d.; winter docs, spotted, to 721 d.; outgoing winter bucks. 68d. to 871 d; outgoing winter does. 54d. to 58td.; spring bucks, 52d.; to 63d.; spring does, 44d. to 46d.; first milky, 47J,d. to 471 d.: milky. 43d. to 44:,’d.: summer broken, 43Jd to 46Jd.; fawns, 40d. to 51d.; summer black, 41d. to 44Jd.; hareskins. 30d. to 31 ; }d.; horsehair, 29d. to 34-Jd.; second ferrets. 2s. 9d. to 3s. Id.: third ferrets. 4d. to Is. Id.; first, ferrets, none offering.
