POLISH TROOPS

INSPECTED BY THE KING. MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. March 9. After paying a visit to Polish troops in Scotland on Friday, the King sent the following telegram to General Sikorski: The Queen and I are most grateful to Mrs. Sikorski and yourself for your kind hospitality to us today. It has been a great pleasure to us to see so many fine troops under your command, on whose appearance and efficiency I congratulate your heartily.” Replying. General Sikorski thanked Their Majesties for their visit, which he said would not only inspire the Polish troops, but bring encouragement to the millions.of Poles who are now suffering under the cruel yoke of the common enemy.
