WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
KAITUNA-FERNRIDGE. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Kaituna-Fern-ridge Women’s Institute held in the Kaituna Hall recently. Mrs J. Welsh presided. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Wyeth. Cooper, Dagg and Chapman. The election of officers resulted:-— President, Mrs lorns; committee, Mesdames lorns, Welsh. Kcir. Alan Keir, Pringle. Chapman. R. and L. Taylforth. A competition for a tomato salad was won by Mrs Keir Senr., Mrs Welsh being second. The flower competition was won by Mrs Scharnweber and Mrs Keir Senr. Next month's competition will be for fruit squares made with short pastry.
