ADMISSION TO BRITISH COMMONWEALTH FOR SMALL EUROPEAN NATIONS. NUCLEUS OF EVEN LARGER FEDERATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. “I favour Belgium seeking admission to the British Commonwealth of Nations,” said M. Camille Huysmans, a Belgian politician, in an interview. “I know here in London that statesmen of other smaller European nations are thinking similarly. They regard the Commonwealth as the nucleus of an even larger federation of Democracies, and the basis of a defensive organisation which will compel Germany to renounce aggression and become eventually a good European.
