MASTERTON CLUB GAMES. CHAMPION FOURS COMPETITION. The following matches in connection with the Masterton Bowling Club's championship fours competition will be played on the club’s greens commencing at one o'clock on Saturday:—• E. J. Reid (s) v. C. Perry (s); A. O Jones (s) v. Roberts (s). Further matches will be played on the completion of the above games. HANDICAP PAIRS. TROPHIES FOR COMPETITION. (Notes by "The Bowler.") Mr J. V. Gordon, a popular member of the Masterton Club, has generously donated trophies for a handicap pairs competition among the first, second and third year members of the club. Up to the present only two games have been finalised, and the results are as follow: —Downes and Holdswirth (scr) beat Guthrie-Smith and Wylie (sci’i: A. W. Greenwood and Holtham (scr) beat Hubert and Hearle (scr).
