£1000 DONATION
TO NATIONAL PATRIOTIC FUND. BY T. BORTHWICK & SONS. ■The secretary in New Zealand of®te Messrs Thomas Borthwick and SonsW (Australasia) Ltd., has advised the National Patriotic Fund Board that the company has decided to make a further donation of £l,OOO for this year to the fund, payable in two instalments, one immediately and the balance in September. The donation is allocated as follows: Wairarapa, £500; Christchurch, £200; Feilding, £150; Waitara, £l5O.
