CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Matthew's Church, Masterton. tomorrow at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening. There \yill be a service at Taueru in the afternoon and the Rev V. W. Joblin will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni.
The services at Knox Church. Masterton, and at Matahiwi tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev John Davie. The service preparatory to Holy Communion will be held in Knox Church on Thursday evening.
The Salvation Army will hold Harvest Festival meetings tomorrow. Major and Mrs Dick, who have recently taken charge of the Whatman Home, will be the ieaders. Major Dick will speak in the morning service and Mrs Major Dick in the evening. A special gift service for the children will be held in the afternoon. Special Harvest singing and music will be a feature. A sale of goods will be held on Monday ant’ the Hall will be opened at 2 p.m. hi the evening the sale will continue ant a programme will be given by members of the Methodist Choir, at 7.30 o’clock.
The service of the Masterton Baptist Fellowship, to be held in the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow morning, will be conducted by the Rev Russell Grave, of the Brooklyn Baptist Church. Wellington and the Communion service will be observed at Ihe close. Sunday School is held at 1(1 a.m. and children not attending any other Sunday School are welcome.
