GAMES AT PARK GREEN
; Perfect bowling conditions favoured i the Park Club on Saturday afternoon when a fours tournament was held in aid of the Nursing and Navy Queen Three rounds were played and all were closely contested. The evenness of the play can be judged by the fact that the difference between the highest aggregate and the lowest was only nine points. The winning rink was that skipped by C. The Princess Royal. Miss Burling, presented trophies to the winning four and congratulated them upon their successful play. Miss Burling also thanked the Park Club for its work in organising the tournament. In reply. My Perry thanked Miss Burling for her remarks and congratulated the ofMc'als of the Park Club upon the excellence of the green and the manner in which the whole tournament had been conducted. Cheers were given for the winning four, and the Nursing and Navy Queen and Princess Royal, and the proceedings closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
