MASTERTON ACTIVITIES AIR FORCE CANDIDATE. 1 CABARET TONIGHT AT i AERO CLUE. I Owing to a misunderstanding the cabaret set down for icnight at the Aero Club in aid of the Air Force Queen, was incorrectly advertised m yesterday's "Times-Age." Il is hoped that patrons have not been unduly inconvenienced through this error, and that they will ajtend tonighi in full force. OPF.R.X HOUSE CONCERT TONIGHT] The concert in the Opera House to-] night is certain io draw a large attend-] ance. and the public are advised to b.e| early in order to secure good seats. The popular charge for admission covers all parts of the house and the best seats will doubtless be 'quickly taken up. This concert will be the Huimai Maoris' big contribution to the Air Force Queen campaign, and no effort has been spared by them to ensure a bright and entertaining programme. Assisting artists are travelling long distances to assist in the carnival; therefore a bumper house is expected. SERVICES APPRECIATED. Many are those who have offered and given freely of their time and services in this campaign, and the Air Force Queen Committee, desire to especially express to .Mr Syd. Smith, their appreciation of his services in connection with, the .Air Force stand at the show, and at the Air Raid shelter in Queen Street. ATTRACTION AT HOMEWOOD. Homewood's big night in the £L--000.090 Patriotic Appeal will take place in the Homewood Hall on Saturday evening. The gathering has beer, arranged oy supporters of the Air Force Queen in that district, and entertainment of a high standard is promised. A large party from •Master- ] ton will make the trip and the Air Force Queen will be present. j I DONATIONS BY BEAUTY SALONS. I The Air Force Committee gratefully ' acknowledge donations made by Mrs] Lilian McKenzie, and Miss Esme Hard-1 ing. each having offered a full head; permanent wave to the winners el i rallies to be conducted. Tickets for] the same are obtainable at the .Air Raid shelter, the centre of all Air Force Queen activities in this big effort.
