YUGOSLAVS IN BERLIN

FORMAL STATEMENT ISSUED. It is announced from Berlin, the 8.8. C. states, that Herr Hitler yesterday received the Yugoslav Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister. Herr von Ribbentrop was also present. A formal statement has been issued to the effect that they merely considered matters of common interest in the spirit of traditional friendliness existing between the two countries. The Rumanian Charge D'Affaires and Press Attache of the London Legation have tendered their resignations to the Rumanian Government as a protest against the Government's surrender to Nazi domination.
