WORKMEN’S FRIEND NO. 2

MEETING OF DIRECTORS

The monthly meeting of the directors of the Workmen’s Friend No. 2 Building Society was held last night. There were present Messrs Wm. Kemp (chairman). T. B. Braggins, C. W. Walker, A. V. Dixon. E. FL Morton. E. J. Brown. S. M. Gilding. 11. L Price and A. E. Hubbard.

The finance report was read and received, and correspondence was dealt with.

A member requested the consent of the directors to transfer subscriptions to the redemption account for the purpose of paying of! his mortgage. The request was granted. The secretary reported that the investment of an appropriation authorised at last meeting had been completed. and that the successful member at the last ballot had accepted the appropriation.

The annual meeting was fixed to take place on March 31 al 730 pm. It was decided that an appropriation of £4OO by sale <or ballot if no tender were received) be held at that meeting.
