HOUSE TO HOUSE CANVASS NEXT WEEK. '1 he one annual jqipeal made by the Masterlon branch of the Plunket Society will commence on Monday, February 10. On that day and following days a house to house canvass will bo made for donations. It is pointed out that this is a special collection for donations, quite apart from the payment of annual subscriptions Needless to say. the work of the Plunket Society is more important than ever at the present time and exjsenses are increasing, so that* the need for funds is urgent. In view of the splendid response made by .Masterton residents in the past, officers of the society have every confidence that the results i f next week's appeal will prove quite as satisfactory as those in former veins
