CLAY BIRD COMPETITIONS , MEETING AT WAINGAWA. I D. TAYLOR IN GOOD FORM. Members of the Wairarapa Gun Chib held a clay bird meeting on the club's’ well appointed ground at Norfolk! Road, Waingawa, at the weekend ' There was a good attendance of members and despite the wind there was: some excellent shooting. The principal! match was the fifteen bird ladies'j trophy competition which was won by I D. Taylor, of Carterton. who broke all: his “clays,’’ eleven with the first barrel' and 4 with the second. The runners-up: wore Messrs W H Smmd--i> ii Nitz., and J. Curiam, who with one miss each’ tired off for the second trophy.
