The advance of the Army of the Nile to Benghazi continues satisfactorily, with the fall of Derna. announced by a Cairo comunique. which states: "The capture of Derna was completed this morning.

"In the Agordat-Barentu sector, in Eritrea. the concentration of our forces is proceeding smoothly, despite distances and physical difficulties which have been overcome largely by the work of lhe Cape mechanical transport companies.

"Intensive patrolling continues east of Metemma in Abyssinia.

"In all sectors of Italian Somaliland work is progressing on improved forward roads in support of our advanced patrols, whose activities across the frontier are continuing unabated."
