APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED
("Times-Anc" Special.) The following appointments to local schools are announced.
Miss Margaret Lawson to Martinborough; Miss Margaret Rowles to Featherston: Margaret Merle! to Hutt Central; Mr. P. Henderson to Featherston. There was a very' good attendance at the Horne and School Association's Euchre Party held in the Anzac card room on Tuesday night. The winners were: Ladies, Mrs. C. Skipage 1, Mrs. Bainbury 2; Men: Mr. Dick Holland 1, Mr Lopinski, 2. Personal Items. Mrs. Lowell is spending a holiday' in Auckland. Mr. J. Gapper. has returned to Dannevirke after having spent a holiday as the guest of Mr. David Fellingham. HOME GUARD NEW MEMBER ENROLLED. Several new members were enrolled at the home guard parade on Tuesday night, which was largely attended Mr, Alan White was drill instructor Dance and Euchre Party. A dance and euchre party in aid of the patriotic funds will be held in the Kaiwaiwai Hall on Saturday, February
