The Hon D. G. Sullivan. Minister of Supply, returned to Wellington from Auckland today.
The Hon R. Semple, Minister of National Service, left Wellington last night for the South Island.
The Hon P. K. Paikea. representative of the Native race on the Executive Council, has returned to Wellington from Ratana.
Mi - L. McKenzie was re-elected chairman of the Wellington Colleges Board of Governors at the monthly meeting yesterday afternoon.
Mr D. C. Kidd. M.P.. who underwent an operation for peritonitis in the Christchurch Public Hospital a few days ago. is reported to be in a satisfactory condition and improving slowlv.
The Rev. Father Robinson. C.S.S.R. of St. Gerard’s Monastery. Wellington, is at present visiting Masterton and is conducting a three days’ retreat for the community of St. Bride’s Convent. The retreat will end on Saturday.
