COMING OF AGE PARTY
MISS VERNA PALAMONTAIN. — ENJOYABLE GATHERING IN MASTERTON. On Saturday night last about sixty • young people congregated in the Savidge Club rooms to celebrate the compng of age of Verna, younger daughter jof Mr and Mrs W. J. PalanuAitain. i Cornwall Street, Masterton. : Dancing was indulged in for most of ; die evening. Alessrs M. Finlayson and i G. Breen acting as M's.C. During the supper interval the usual ' toasts were honoured. A splendid array of presents was received by the guest of honour, including a handsome travelling case and hat case from the employees of Messrs Cody’s Cash Drapery Company, and a glory box from her parents. A very enjoyable time was spent, and Miss Palamontain was the recipient of whole-hearted congratulations , from her many friends with whom she is very popular.
