GATHERING AT GLADSTONE. TWO PRESENTATI ONS. ("Times-Age" Special. 1 A dance was held last Friday al the Gladstone Hall in honour of the local soldiers and was largely attended. The settlers of the Te Whiti, Gladstone and Longbush districts again combined to make the event an outstanding success. The guests of the evening were Pies G. S. Cooper and J. C. Bartholomew. Mention was made by the actingchairman. .Mr J Mitchell, of an annua! general meeting of all interested from the three districts which was to be held to pass accounts and discuss plans for future social gatherings.
