CARNIVAL TOMORROW NIGHT
INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION.
MEN’S AND LADIES’ EVENTS.
The annual swimming carvinal organised by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association will be held in the Dixon Street Baths tomorrow night. Record entries have been received and everything possible has been done to make the carnival a success.
The association is again adhering to the policy it adopted last year and should any competitors not be ready when they are called they will be disqualified.
Entries for the various events are as follow: —Ladies’ 25 yards handicap, 37 entries; Ladies' 25 yards dash, 36 entries; men’s 25 yards handicap, 32 entries; men's 25 yards dash. 35 entries; ladies’ 50 yards handicap. 29 entries; men's 50 yards handicap. 20 entries; dual relay, io teams of 4; apple Derby', 1C teams of 2; dual rescue. 28 teams of 2; ladies’ relay, 12 teams of 4; men's relay. 10 teams of 4; ladies’ neatest dive. 20 entries; novelty events, TO entries.
The carnival is limed to start at 7 p.m. and patrons are asked to be early. All proceeds of this carnival are in aid of funds for the Army Queen. Miss Marion Holdsworth.
