t SWIMMING CLUB — I ’ RULES DRAWN UP (“Times-Age" Special.) A general meeting of the Swimming! Club was held last night, Mr C. W j Skill presiding over a good attendance of members. Rules for the conduct of the club were drawn up and adopted. Several new members were elected i The programme for the next "club i j night” was approved. Inquest on Boy. At the inquest into the death of Pe- i ter Jamieson, the victim of the acci- j dent at Dyerville, Andrew Jamieson,! father of the lad. stated his son had ! ridden his pony to lake cows to a pad-1 dock lifter milking, while he himself 1 I went away to the Elmdale Factory ! I with the milk. On his return he saw 1 his; son riding and driving the working horses towards the yard. On reaching home he saw the pony with its j bridle trailing along with the other horses and found his son lying at the gate unconscious. His son never rallied and died later in the day. Dr. McTavish said that death was due to slow haemorrhage of the middle meningeal artery. A verdict in accordance with the medical testimony was returned. I i Golden Wedding.
