<By Telegraph—Press Association—Copy rightl LONDON. January 8. The Khartoum correspondent of the “Daily Mail" supplies evidence of the activities of Allied forces in another African theatre of war. Eight Free French cavalrymen were trotting along the road between Gallabat and Kassala when 40 Italian cavalrymen bounded round a corner. The Italians reined in when they saw the Frenchmen, who drew their swords and charged, routing the Italians after killing four and taking eight prisoners.
The capture by British forces of an Italian post east of Kassala is reported by the 8.8. C.
