Soak the rounds of cotton wool in the best olive oil. then put ! a layer of the kivondoi’ in the bottom , of the jar and cover with a round ! of cotton wool. Add another lot of the ■ lavender and put in another round of i the cotton wool. • S.i c intinue until the jar is full: then I over the top tie closely a double thick- [ ness of greaseproof paper. i Now stand the jar in a jilace where !it will be exposed to a lot of sun- ■ shine, keep just as it is for about a I wepk and then strain away the oil. which will be highly perfumed. A j good way to strain the oil is to tic a j piece of muslin, or similar material, lover the top of the jar and then prop :it upside down over a bowl.
