The best I sold for 23s to 265. medium to 225. and ;a large number of light sorts at less) ; .han 21s. I A fat sheep entry of 6500 was praci tically all ewes. For few butchers' . j wethers there was a small easing to ‘ below export values. No competition I was forthcoming for export ewes, and * good sorts sold from 12s to 15s. With • heavy passings, best wethers made 28s ’ to 325, medium weights 24s to 275. and i Slight to 21s: best ewes 22s to 245, mej dium 17s to 21s. light and ordinary 7s I 6d to 15s. [ A heavy entry of 712 fat cattle inI eluded some good quality. They sold 1 from 30s to 40s cheaper for heavy [ weights, from 25s to 30s for quality i medium weights, and as much as 25s , less for cows. .All the entry could not be sold.
