COMMITTEE MEETING The committee of the Greytown Amateur Swimming Club held its monthly meeting last evening. It was reported that the practice of using the baths on Sunday nights was continuing, and two members were warned in connection therewith. It was decided to ask the police tn take action against non-members who were climbing the fence and using the baths. Repairs to the diving boards were authorised. A vote of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Mr Henry Walden, a vice-president of the club The programme for the carnival on January 23 was approved, and arrangements for the dance were completed. Personal Items. Mr G. Burns, of the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, has left for Wellington on his annual leave. Mr H. Dunn, of the W.F.C.A. staff, is at present on holiday. Mr A. Nisbet and Sergeant J. W. Tate have returned from a holiday spent at Taupo.
