SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL HELD BY SWIMMING CLUB _ I (“Timea-Agc” Special.) The Featherston Amateur Swimming’ Club held a very successful social and! dance last Saturday night. The music! was supplied by Miss G. Fraser and Mi : W. McNamara was M.C The novelty dances were won by | Miss A. Johnson and B. Haste and P.. Hatton and G. Hall. During the supper interval. Mr R J < Holland made a presentation on behalf j of the club members to Miss Phyllis j Hatton who will shortly leave the! district in order to lake a Government j position. The supper was in the cap-, ♦ruble hands of the ladies’ committee.
