Simmers 'president) presided. there being also present: M>s> A. Simmers. Messrs R. Gallagher, RDickson. S. Daniel. A. B. Fordyce. KMurray and T. J ago. Accounts amounting to 13s were passed for payment. It was decided to officially open the season on Janu; ry 18. Messrs Gallagher. Daniel and Richardson were appointed to draw up the programme 'it was decided that the weekly club nights commence on January 9. The caretaker reported that ’.he baths had been well patronised dining the past fortnight. Personal Items. Mrs R. Dickson. High Street, left today on a visit to Wellington. Sir and Mrs Sturgeon. Stanley Street, have returned from a trip *<” Hihitahi. Rangitikei. Mrs R Farrow and family and Miss T. Watts left yesterday on a vi.-ot to Blenheim.
