GIRLS’ CAMP
PROCEEDINGS AT SOLWAY.
MANY PHASES OF ACTIVITY
, An enjoyable and profitable time has ; been spent in er.mp at Solway Show- ! grounds by a party of 67 girls from i Wellington, under the auspices of the i Y.W.C.A. Besides a full range of eaniß ! activities and recreational pursuits, excursions were made by some of the girls fo Mount Holdsworth and to Cape Kidnappers. Full use has been made of the Solway College swimming baths and tennis courts. Sports events have been keenly contested. A feature of the eamp has been the perfect weather which has prevailed throughout. There were several guests present at tea last evening, after which a short programme of items, including a leclurette illustrated by lantern slides, wax presented. Miss MacDonald, who has charge of the girls, expressed her appreciation to the many Masterton people who had interested themselves in the girls and had assisted the camp in various ways. f The girls return home on Saturday.
