Fourth Round: Allerhand beat Leonard (Auckland), Kelling drew with Wade (Wellington). Scott (Wanganui) drew with Vincent (Wellington), C. Newick (Auckland) beat Fairburn. Positions at end of the four rounds: Wade 31. Allerhand 3. Scott 2‘. Newick 2. Leonard 2. Bennett 11, Kelling, Fairburn and Vincent each half a point. MAJOR OPEN EVENTS.
