GREYTOWN

AWAY ON HOLIDAY MANY LOCAL RESIDENTS. ("Times-Age” Special.) A large number of residents are spending the holiday period in other parts of New Zealand. Mrs G. Burns and family are spending the holidays in Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. G. Peterson returned to Greytown yesterday after a visit to Wellington. Mrs D. Molesworth and family are the guests of Mrs F. Best, Main Street. Miss K. Whiteman, of Wellington, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Whiteman, Morison’s Bush. Misses E. Best, J. Haigh, D. Haigh, and D. Rees, of Wellington, are spending the holidays with their respective parents at Greytown. Miss B. Kiernan is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs C. Mexted, Tawa Flat, is the guest of Mrs H. G. Carter. McMaster Street. Mr B. Kiernan has left on a visit to Tauranga. Mr and Mrs S. Shedden and Miss Betty Shedden have left for Paraparaumu where they will spend a holiday. Mrs Eccles and family are on a motor tour of the North Island. Mrs A. Ross is on a visit to Eketahuna. Captain H. G. Carter will attend the STHome Guard camp at Foxton from lB to 25. Mr and Mrs W. Cooke and family, of Palmerston North, ate the guests of Mrs C. F. Duff, Main Street. Mr A. E. Peterson, of Wellington, is spending the holidays with Mr and Mrs A. G. Peterson, Main Street.
