A.R.P. TEST.—Residents of Sydney had a real thrill when the city had its first full-scale air-raid precautions test. Although there were a few delays and hitches, the A.R.P. squads learnt from their experience, and within a short time Sydney’s defences will be fit to scare any would-be invader. The photograph shows the crew of an anti-aircraft unit operating a range-finder to determine the "raider's" height and angle.
