Ottawa. —The Canadian Army have place dorders. for 6000 skis for winter training of soldiers in tactics which proved so successful in Finland. Although no actual ski formations are expected at once, soldiers will be allowed to use them largely in a recreational way, but with a view of their later utilisation for wartime purposes.
