BITTER COLD
EXPERIENCE IN FRANCE. TEMPERATURES MUCH BELOW NORMAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) CLERMONT FERRAND (France), December 26. Intense cold prevails over the greater part of France, especially in the higher central region. The temperature in the usually mild region of Toulouse at midday yesterday was nine degrees under freeing point and last night 22 degrees under freezing point were registered.
