SERVICES APPRECIATED
MR. AND MRS. W. HARDING HONOURED. WAIRARAPA GUN DOG CLUB GATHERING. On Tuesday evening a happy and impromptu gathering of members of the Wairarapa Gun Dog Club took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harding, Oxford Street, Lansdowne. The opportunity was taken to show the club’s appreciation of the services rendered during the past year by the president of the club, Mr. Harding, and also for the outstanding assistance and painstaking work Mrs. Harding had undertaken to further the club’s interests. In making a presentation of a dinner service to Mr. and Mrs. Harding, the Wairarapa Gun Dog Club’s patron, Mr. C. E. Grey, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Harding for their past generosity and hospitality, and expressed the deep gratitude of members for the manner in which Mrs. Harding had assisted the club, and added that her untiring work had been very much appreciated. Musical honours were accorded the recipients, and Mr. and Mrs. Harding suitably replied.
