The “Daily Telegraph’s” Belgrade correspondent reports that the Soviet Minister in Bucharest has protested against the anti-Soviet campaign in Rumania and the continued arrests of so-called Communists. Coinciding with the reports of continued unrest in Rumania and of sabotage hampering the delivery of promised supplies to Germany, comes the announcement of the appointment of Dr. Killinger as German’Ambassador to Rumania. Dr. Killinger’s reputation for ruthlessness dates back to 1921, when he was responsible for quelling disorders in connection with the German Finance Minister, Herr Erzberger.
