LATEST WEEKLY TOTAL. WELL BELOW AVERAGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 10. Merchant shipping losses for the week ended December 1, totalled 52,000 tons, which is 10,000 tons below the weekly average. The losses consisted of nine British ships of 41,300 tons, three Allied ships of 5700 tons and one neutral ship of 5000 tons.
